1.  DONATE YOUR TIME AS A VOLUNTEER TO LOAVES&Fishes

Some typical volunteer duties might include:

• Welcoming new Bhutanese families as they come into the city by visiting them in their homes, spending time with them, playing games, etc.
• Volunteering your time to teach English or become involved as a teacher with various organizations that already exist.  Many of the Bhutanese ALREADY speak English very well.
• Delivering donated items such as clothing and food to families
• Participating and/or helping to organize fundraising events.
• Helping to transport people in need to medical appointments, to the grocery store or to other places that they need to go.
• Boredom is always an obstacle to overcome, so Volunteers can be of great help by offering to organize and provide transport to recreational activities such as to the Park, to the movies or to the Mall.

This Ministry does NOT have 501(3)(c) status but we are working hard to obtain it so all donations can be tax deductible.  In the meantime, any financial support is greatly appreciated and we can guarantee that all proceeds go directly towards the support of this ministry.  There are no paid employees and LOAVES&Fishes is an all-volunteer group.

Financial Donations can easily be made thorough PayPal.  All major credit cards are accepted.

3.  DONATE YOUR GENTLY USED OR NEW ITEMS to LOAVES&Fishes

Families from Bhutan arrive in the United States with very little and the need to provide adequate clothing and food is always immediate.  Donations of very gently used clothing is always needed, so please refer to the List of Needed Items for a current WISH LIST.
